Hello. My name is Harry Harris. I am ​a nonfiction Producer with a strong track record of making films with a journalistic edge. My latest documentary, Con Mum, for Netflix, was produced with award winning independent production company, Forest, launches on March 25th, 2025. 

My previous works includes, in the UK, Hometown: A Teenage Killing (BBC), which looked at the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of a teenage boy, uncovering a wider story affecting young men across the same city, in Canada, Santa Claus: The Serial Killer (BBC), investigating why a serial killer operated for so long in Toronto's gay village before being caught, and in the US, Real PD Kansas City (Discovery /Channel 4), a series which provided a window into the complexities of urban life in a Midwestern city grappling with rising violent crime rates.

Before I moved to long-form storytelling, I was a journalist, beginning my career reporting for BBC radio, before taking up a role at CNN. ​Now I work with award-winning directors, often in retrospective documentaries, to focus on events where the human impact outlives news cycles, bridging past narratives with more contemporary, forward-moving actuality.
